With medieval roots, Bytom was profoundly shaped by the industrial development of the 19th and early 20th centuries. This period gave the city its impressive architecture and elegant buildings, earning it the nickname “Little Vienna.” Today, Bytom offers one of the most diverse architectural landscapes in Upper Silesia.
